Freedom For Every Body is our campaign to draw attention to the fight for bodily autonomy: where activists for reproductive justice, trans rights, and LGBTQ equality have common ground. As states across the country (including North Carolina) continue to challenge, reduce, or refuse rights for all citizens, join us by sharing why freedom for every body matters to you and learn ways you can take action today. We are proud to announce the launch of our nationwide “Power Beyond Pride” survey. This initiative invites LGBTQ+ activists and community organizers across the United States to share their experiences, challenges, and visions for the future of social justice movements. The survey aims to highlight the unique impact of LGBTQ+ identities on activism and community organizing. Responses will inform a report that explores the needs, insights, and aspirations of those driving change, offering actionable recommendations to strengthen and support their efforts.

We’re supporting this summit to support organizations moving forward with ethical storytelling and fundraising approaches. In this difficult time, we want to join in conversation and encourage out-of-the-box thinking in ensuring commitments to community-led and -informed solutions continue to be valued and show demonstrable impact.

As a longtime sponsor of the event, A Great Idea stepped up to support this year entirely to ensure that during an election year, there was community support for our drag performer community, services that address many of the experiences of LGBTQ+ people in Guilford County, and assure that queer representation must be present in the face of legislators attempting to pass increasingly homophobic and transphobic laws. Bingos across the country are unifying nights of celebration and joy that also present opportunities to demonstrate community power and impact. We are proud supporters of this year's events.

Celebrate Latinx Pride! Come out for local food trucks, drag shows, music, and crafts for the kids. This is a space to celebrate and share the diverse cultures, identities, and experiences of the local Latinx LGBTQ community. Organizers from El Centro Hispano aim to create an event that fosters unity, inclusivity, and empowerment by showcasing our community’s talents while providing social, healthcare, and advocacy resources, and family fun.

S.L.A.M. is an intentionally BIPOC-centered, anti-colonial unlearning and reimagining opportunity for all educators, therapists, and clinicians. This event provides opportunities for critical skill building at the intersection of liberation and sexuality education. Community Event held to bring Durham families together to celebrate Black and LGBTQIA+ elders and dreaming together for a better future on Martin Luther King Jr. Day (January 20). A Great Idea is a proud sponsor of this grassroots event developed through many community partners and coordinated through the LGBTQ Center of Durham and Rainbow Collective for Change.

We are annual supporters of Triad Health Project's awareness days to increase community engagement with the impact of HIV/AIDS and our ongoing fight to end the epidemic. We are committed to this work and proud supporters of this event.
