Treatment Tool
Specialty Access International

Janssen Oncology is one of the world’s largest providers of pharmaceuticals in cancer treatments. The team working on a unique tablet tool for health providers asked A Great Idea to streamline the original concept’s user experience, cutting the interactive table-based interactivity from 40+ pages of linear content and forms down to a clean, simple interface that responded to feedback and delivered the intended content.
A Great Idea began the project with a review of the content, established wireframes, and led the graphic design execution before building a functional prototype.

Clarity of Functions
With nearly 40 linear pages in the initial concept and design, this cost tool’s user experience needed to be slimmed down so that the user wasn’t overwhelmed and added the ability to easily edit selections within the tool. A Great Idea mapped out the intended goals of the project and introduced collapsible FAQ centers, form logics, and other user patterns that provided a seamless experience.
Detailing the User’s Experience
Once the tablet tool had clear focus and tightened engagement planned, it moved to the wireframing stage where content and calls to action could be easily identified and modified. A Great Idea took these wireframes to create an active prototype that gave the team and client an opportunity to interact with the tool before it went into full development
Designing for Use
A Great Idea looked to Janssen’s thorough brand guide to provide direction for the tool’s visual design. Keeping it within the Janssen family of products, the tablet tool’s clear calls to action and visual language of iconography and graphics produce a powerful, effective tool.
How long does a website project take?
This can vary! Simple sites using 2-3 templates with 10-15 pages can take just a few weeks, while large projects can take months. We tailor our timelines to fit your team’s needs, budget, and capacity while remaining transparent and accurate about how long the project will take.
What type of awareness campaigns do you handle?
We work on a wide variety of awareness campaigns! We most often work with nonprofit, community, education, and healthcare organizations. For example, we have developed campaigns for our clients on topics like social justice awareness, public health awareness, advocacy, community resource awareness, and stigma reduction.
How do I measure the success of my awareness campaign?
Success varies based on your goals for the campaign. At the beginning of our collaboration, we will define our shared metrics of success. This can include anything from uptake of a hashtag to signups for your event! We set up digital awareness campaigns to be trackable—that way, we can collect analytics that evaluate campaign success to inform your future strategy.
What’s the difference between UI and UX?
UI (User Interface) focuses more on the look, feel, and layout of your website. This can mean buttons, fonts, and navigation. UX (User Experience) is a bit broader and more structural, focusing on the overall experience. Think of UX as the house, the UI as the paint and the decorations. We often work on UI/UX in tandem as part of a holistic approach to website construction.
What kind of print and digital design do you offer?
Our team is composed of skilled designers, copywriters, and developers, meaning we can offer a range of design services! Most commonly, we offer custom brochure design services and promotional materials, annual report designs, marketing collateral design, brand design, environmental design, designs signage, and social media designs. Get in touch and let’s talk about your project!
