A4RR Site Content
The Alliance for Rights and Recovery

In the process of rebranding and building out a new website with the expertise of Growth for Good, the Alliance for Rights and Recovery’s new website lacked written content with a clear tone.
A4RR reached out to A Great Idea to create the copy for the new website. The copy needed to match and build on the tone AGI had already established on A4RR social media.
A Great Idea worked with the A4RR and G4G teams to develop language that elevates the website’s UI flow. The text and the website structure work arm-in-arm to uplift important advocacy work, is relevant to A4RR’s community, and centers their mission.
AWARD RECOGNITIONS
Rooted in Radical Tradition
For over four decades, Alliance for Rights and Recovery has been on the cutting edge of person-centered behavioral health advocacy; as advocates ourselves, we understand that this history informs all of their work––even as the organization rebrands and evolves. We ensured that the website copy firmly communicates A4RR’s constant values: working towards self-directed resource access; treating people as people, not patients; and networks of care rooted in community instead of institutions.
Centering Collaboration
Our direct collaboration with the teams at the Alliance for Rights and Recovery (A4RR) and Growth for Good (G4G) meant we could bring our copywriting and content expertise to the table when it was needed most. Through intentional conversation, we obtained a deep understanding of A4RR’s mission and combined this with the brand’s social media tone to develop copy that worked alongside G4G’s design work to create an engaging and advocacy-centered website.
Empower Advocates
With a core understanding of activism, organizational purpose, and audience, we are a perfect match to work with an advocate coalition like the Alliance for Rights and Recovery. We brought our background in harm reduction, intuitive understanding of tone, and brand expertise to write copy that is engaging, accessible, and effective at the purpose: igniting people’s passion for advocacy and connecting community members to resources.
How do I choose the right brand strategy consultant for my business?
Choosing the right brand strategy consultant is an important part of shaping your brand’s image and reputation. Take time to look at a potential consultant or agency’s past work by looking at their portfolio. Then, set up an initial meeting to ask questions and determine if their brand strategy process fits your needs, values, budget, and goals.
What types of copywriting services do you offer?
We provide a range of mission-led copywriting services. This means writing for websites, social media channels, publications, appeals, newsletters, and more.
What should I expect to pay for brand strategy consulting services?
The cost of brand strategy consulting varies depending on your specific needs, project complexity, and who you hire. Before any consultations, it’s important to define your goals and budget to ensure the scope of work matches your expectations. Small, independent consulting agencies like A Great Idea typically charge between $100 and $300+ per hour or $5,000 to $30,000 per full brand strategy project.
What type of awareness campaigns do you handle?
We work on a wide variety of awareness campaigns! We most often work with nonprofit, community, education, and healthcare organizations. For example, we have developed campaigns for our clients on topics like social justice awareness, public health awareness, advocacy, community resource awareness, and stigma reduction.
What is brand strategy?
Brand strategy is a long-term plan for how you want your audience to see and engage with your brand. It is the process of deciding how you show up and connect with your community and of establishing a plan for building and maintaining that brand identity over time.
